The Things We Search Every Day (And the One Search You Forgot)
Every day, people make billions of searches online. We check the weather before leaving home and search Gmail for an email we need. We open YouTube to watch something funny or learn something new, browse Amazon for something useful, and look up today’s Wordle over coffee. We turn to Google Translate when we encounter another language, ask ChatGPT questions, and open Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp to find people, photos, messages and conversations — or simply pass a little time. When you think about it, these everyday searches are remarkable. In seconds, we can find almost anything — answers, places, products, people, photos, videos, messages, ideas and information.
